Professional and Parent Consultations 

Consultations are available for parents, SLPs and other professionals who would like guidance on a specific child. Through these individualized consultations, Tera Sumpter will provide parents and professionals support and guidance on their child or student's case. She will discuss the child's case history, current needs and help problem solve ideas for subsequent assessment and therapeutic steps.

This service provides an avenue for both professionals and parents to discuss a child they know, or suspect, has learning difficulties with a specialist in the field.

Tera’s consultations are provided with focus on the following specialization areas with regard to comprehensive assessment and intervention recommendations:

  • speech

  • language

  • literacy

  • executive functioning

  • other learning disabilities

Please note that diagnoses and specific treatment goals are only made through the Seeds of Learning® comprehensive evaluation process and cannot be made through a consultation session.

Two (2) options are available for parent and professional consultations:

  • A 1-hour Zoom consultation session ($275)

  • A 1-hour Zoom consultation + chart review ($375)

Upon scheduling and purchasing a consultation, the client will be emailed the necessary paperwork to fill out as well as instructions for the consultation to take place either in-person or virtually, according to preference. In cases of emergencies, consultations may be rescheduled at the client’s/Seeds of Learning® mutual convenience.

Please note that fees will not be refundable from the time the scheduled consultation begins.
